This hike through the Brisbane Ranges National Park is perfect for a cold winters morning and will have you warmed up pretty quick.  Walking through Deadmans Gully we will join a different myriad of tracks with lots of steep ascents to keep the heart pumping.  This loop hike is approximately 12km and involves hiking along single tracks, 4WD tracks, grass and gravel roads as we view wildlife such as birds and kangaroos. 

If you have hiking boots, make sure you wear them for this hike.   

What is included:

-Walk guides with first aid support

What to bring:

- At least 1 -1.5 litres of drinking water 

- Hiking shoes (if you have them)

-Hat/Beanie

-Rain coat/jacket (if required)

- Small backpack to carry everything in  

- Sunscreen

Meeting place:

We will meet at Steiglitz Courthouse, Steiglitz.  Toilets are available by short walk.

Weather:

This walk should be able to proceed in most weather conditions.  If severe weather warning or lots of rain forecast this walk will need to be postponed.  

ADVENTURE RATING:

ORANGE Traffic light - I have rated this hike as orange as there are some steep hills to walk up and down and lots of walking on uneven ground in the bush.   This hike requires a moderate degree of fitness.  It could take approx 3 hours hours to complete.  Remember only you can decide if this adventure is right for you.
